Dear Parents welcome to Ysgol yr Esgob, Caerwys. We are very proud of our School, of its Welsh heritage and the part it plays in the local community and in the wider community as well. 

As its name indicates we are a Church in Wales’ school whose modern buildings were opened by the then Bishop of St. Asaph, Alwyn Rice Jones. Our aim is that Christian values and attitudes should permeate all that we do in the school but that tolerance and open- mindedness should be its hallmark as well. Because it is a small school individuals are valued for themselves and the friendliness of staff, pupils and governors is often commented upon. This friendliness extends as far as Wisconsin, our partner school in the USA!
